The bathroom is shared with me. * Shared: the open living room and kitchen, the balcony and the cellar. Washing machine and dryer are in the basement. * Lease: 6-9 months, with the option to extend. **The area** Altstetten is one of Zürich's most practical and lively neighbourhoods, and you have almost everything within a few minutes. * Getting around: the Freihofstrasse tram stop is close by. Altstetten Bahnhof is nearby too, with fast trains into the city centre and beyond. * Shopping: the Letzipark shopping centre, plus plenty of supermarkets. * Sport and leisure: a swimming pool and several gyms nearby. * Peace and quiet: it's a residential area, so you can come home to a calm street while the city is only a short ride away. **2\. About me** I'm 40, a chemical engineer, and I live in Zürich. I love cooking and sometimes host a relaxed dinner at home, one or two a month at most, when time allows. I travel a lot for work and private reasons, so you'll often have the flat to yourself. I'm friendly, polite and honest, and I value direct, respectful communication. **3\. Who I'm looking for** I'm looking for a working person aged 30 to 50, male or female, who is friendly, polite and honest. I'm not after a "hotel WG" where we never see each other. It would be nice to have a chat in the kitchen or an occasional shared dinner when our schedules allow, though you'll also have plenty of time to yourself, as I travel a lot. I like a flat that's clean and tidy, without anyone being obsessive about it. And when something small comes up in everyday life together, I'd like us to talk about it openly and calmly, with no passive-aggressive hints, and find a practical solution together.
